Toyota Corolla 2007

Black Toyota Corolla Verso 7 seater petrol 2007 . Our family car for many years and i am reluctant to scrap the car in as it was running very well before its nct in February and still is , also lots of good parts , engine and body , for somebody to get value from it . The engine fires up first time even on the fumes that must be left in the tank (nearly empty). The battery does need checking as it was relatively new but something drained it while sitting for 7 months ,does charge up but not holding as the car is not being driven . Also the driver back brake was slightly siezed when we moved it last week so the will need looking at free now but metal scraping noise . No point in sugar coating it as you can see from the pictures what the car looks like and what happened on the NCT . We have not seen the underside of the car but it must be fixable . I would point out that its probably not going to be worth your while unless you can weld yourself as we were quoted by a Local Highwayman for €800 euro ( i know i think he was Dick Turpin). We were amazed at all the failures on the car as there was no mention of rust on the undercarraige in previous tests . The other items i have been told are not such a big deal even though they are marked as major but the NCT is in the pictures for you to decide . 4 good alloys , one tyre has a slow puncture on passenger front tyre other 3 are good . Rear wiper needs replacing front wipers are good . One small hole on driver side back bumper not sure what hit us . Radio works grand but has a faulty connection so on off (mostly off). Seats and upholstery could do with a valet as a bit dirty but no rips . Electric windows working fine as does the heater. All in all a very good car for us and was very reliable . Looking at the NCT it was like they gave us back a different car. Never crashed or bumped , Irish car . Got to be worth keeping alive , better than an electric option . Thanks for looking .
