When I arrived with the recovery service, they checked my car in immediately. A mechanic kindly offered to have a quick look there and then, and within minutes I had a preliminary diagnosis and a clear estimate. They explained they’d carry out full diagnostics the next day and keep me updated. Being three hours from home, I was stuck—but when I asked for help getting a taxi to the Portlaoise train station, Brandon in the office insisted on driving me himself. A 50-minute round trip, done without hesitation, and he refused any petrol money. Absolutely above and beyond. Two days later, they called to say the car was ready for collection—well ahead of schedule—and once again offered to pick me up from the train station. The entire turnaround took just 2.5 working days, not the week originally quoted. They even waived the diagnostic fee to keep the cost down.
