1.4 Volkswagen Golf 187000miles Well looked after Have owned car for the last nine years Never let me down NCT Till 24/06/27 A few marks on the body Scratch marks on the rear bumper I don’t do big mileage per year, Car is always Regularly serviced Minimum once a year(before NCT) Just Recently serviced Oil + oil filter Air filter Spark plugs New exhaust back box X3 new wipers X2 new tires And also got a VW armrest fitted Previous service Oil + Oil filter Oil separator / breather housing New thermostat housing New coolant X2 new tires New battery In the last approximately 2/3 years got New brakes and discs all round X2 New/reconditioned VW rear brake callipers New handbrake cable Also front wiper arms were stripped and re-greased. (known fault with the golf) 3-4 years ago it had the both sills repaired properly Any rust was cut out and replaced with good metal, welded back In. And to this day they are still perfect. In the last 3/4 months, or so, Car has developed a slight misfire When plugged into computer it shows that it’s on cylinder number two. Car still drives fine. You just noticed it slightly on tick over. I’ve recently purchased a new car, So i’m not going to spend money repairing the mild misfire, Instead, I’m going to sell the car at a reasonably cheap price so the next owner can pursue the problem Genuine enquiries only, I work shift so text probably best And I can call/text you back.
