Volkswagen golf (please read description)

Selling my 2006 VW Golf 1.4 petrol as it is no longer required. The car has been a reliable daily driver but now requires mechanical attention and is being sold as a non-runner. Key Information: Mileage: 307,000 km.(Estimate as battery dead) Engine: 1.4 Petrol. Transmission: Gearbox issues; 1st gear is not engaging, but all other gears and reverse are functional. Status: Currently not starting; likely requires a jump start,just not turned on for over a month NCT/Tax: Expired. Recent Work & Extras: New brake pads, CV boot, and ball joint recently fitted. Sale includes a new window regulator part (uninstalled) for the driver's side. Points to Note: Coolant light on start up intermittently (possibly water pump failing) Timing belt and water pump are due for replacement (last done at 162k km). The boot latch is faulty and does not open from the outside. The front bumper is currently secured with cable ties. The interior is in very clean condition for the year,just needs a hoover Terms: Car must be collected by trailer or tow from the Limerick area. Ideal for a mechanic or as a donor car for parts.
