Volkswagen Karmann Ghia 1966

I am selling my beloved 1966 Karmann Ghia because I need the money to buy a house. I purchased the car in 2008 in Manchester (UK) and imported it to Ireland. I bought a car that needed a lot of work done to it, particularly the bodywork. The car has received a complete restoration, interior, exterior and mechanically. The body restoration included new rear arches to both sides, new rear quarter panels to both sides, new sills to both sides and a small section of the floor pan (approx. 200mm x 200mm) was removed and replaced. The car was originally an ivory white colour but the previous owner had resprayed sections of the car green. I have a full catalogue of photos in it's previous state and during the restoration for those interested. Internally, it has received all new carpets and door cards. The seats and headliner are original to the car and are in good shape. Mechanically, it has received new disc brakes to the front, an engine overhaul and a very recent service which has her running very nicely. The itemised recent service can be seen in the photos. All in all, the car has been fully restored and cared for. It is not in show condition but it is in very nice shape and could be brought up to show condition with very little effort or cost. Unfortunately I no longer have the time to drive her and as I said I need money to buy a house so I am hoping to find a new owner that will care for her as much as I did over the past 16 years. She has been stored in my parents insulated and sealed garage since the restoration.
