What fantastic service I received from Caimin at jd swords. I'd reviewed other dealers renault, mg and even though the id3 was slightly more expensive Caimin went through everything and convinced me it was the best choice. I'm delighted with my car and the service I received.

Where to start. Customer service was great. Arranged a lift back to work when timing belt was getting done. But.... only discovered after a couple of days when o2 sensor issue appeared. Brought back to garage and they wanted €540. I had just forked out €700 for timing belt. So no money to do at the time. Brought to independent mechanic and he discovered the vac pipe was cracked with petrol vapour was leaking and alternator had hammer marks on it. He also checked o2 sensor and was fine and still working without replacement. Joe Duffy Volkswagen Airside initially denied any wrong doing but after a few mails back and forth the fixed the problems they created.Extremely disappointed by this service and will never use again.

Poor customer service experience. Have to say their aftercare is great when nothing is wrong. They were happy to take nearly 1300 for a mechantronics, on top of a diagnostics fee. Unit production stopped and was left in the lurch for 3 weeks (until I contacted them for an update), I was told i had to bring it back to the garage, told they could do nothing cause they cleared the error. So.i needed to reproduce the error and come back for another doagnostics. They were obsiouly too incompetent and didnt get all the required info too the replacement from VW first time around. Unit eventually came, fitted, went home and the second key had stopped working. Brought it back and was told its normally a 100 charge, even though it was working before they worked on the car. Aired my thoughts and unsurprising havent had a follow after care call. Heads buried in the sand when shit hits the fan.
