I recently purchased a Volvo XC40 Recharge from Connolly’s Volvo Galway and am absolutely delighted with the car and, ultimately, with the experience of buying it from them. I dealt with several members of the team and would particularly like to mention Dolores, who was exceptional. I had quite a few questions as the purchase progressed, particularly around the documentation, warranty and arrangements for handover. Dolores was incredibly helpful, responsive and patient throughout. What I particularly appreciated was the way she took ownership of things – she was on top of the details, followed matters through and made sure I had the information I needed rather than simply passing questions on. She was also consistently pleasant and straightforward to deal with. I really appreciated the amount of work she put in behind the scenes to make sure everything was properly organised for me. I also had an excellent handover with Ciara. She was friendly, personable, honest and very knowledgeable, answered all of my questions and took the time to help me set up the car and infotainment system properly. Nothing felt rushed and she made the collection itself a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I drove away not only delighted with the car, but feeling very well looked after. I should also mention Gavin, who was very helpful when an unexpected issue meant the original handover could not proceed as planned. He quickly came up with an excellent practical solution which kept me mobile until my car was ready. The car itself was presented beautifully and absolutely spotless, with real attention having been given to its preparation. All of the documentation I had requested was also available at handover. Buying a car is a substantial purchase and I probably ask more questions than most! What mattered to me was that when questions or unexpected issues arose, the team took them seriously, dealt with them and made sure everything was right in the end. That gave me a great deal of confidence in the purchase. Most importantly, I absolutely love the XC40. I am delighted with the car and very happy to recommend Connolly’s Volvo Galway. I had an issue with my trunk opening after buying the second hand S90 from independent dealer, but I called in to these guys without booking in an appointment, but they took me in anyway in about half an hour and fixed the issue in 5 minutes and didn't even charged me for the service, I sincerely recommend them to all Volvo owners. And I appreciate the great service.

Ray is an absolute gent and a very intelligent guy. Very smooth and quick process. He had an answer for all of my questions
