Volvo S40 2.0D 2009

Selling my 2009 Volvo S40 2.0 Diesel. Very clean and well-maintained car, both inside and out. Bodywork is in very good condition, with only a few minor scratches. The interior is excellent, with the leather seats in very good condition. Everything in the car is working as it should. Very economical car – I get around 20 km/L with my driving. Engine and gearbox are in excellent condition. Tyres are also in very good condition. Logbook is clean and ready for transfer. I'm selling the car because I have bought a newer Volvo. Tax & NCT Motor tax expired on 31 August. Tax is €113 every 3 months. I put the car through the NCT recently, but unfortunately it failed on the diesel smoke test. The reading was 1.880/m, while the limit for turbocharged cars is 1.500/m. My mechanic checked the car and believes that cleaning the intercooler and intake system should resolve the issue. This is reflected in the asking price, which has already been reduced by over €500 from my original price. The car is being sold with the NCT for the next owner to sort out. Recent maintenance The following work has been carried out over the last few months: Front brake discs and pads replaced EGR valve and all associated piping cleaned MAF sensor cleaned Engine oil and oil filter changed approximately 500 km ago All filters replaced Front shock absorbers replaced approximately 50,000 km ago Timing belt replaced approximately 70,000 km ago Located in Cork City.
