Volvo V50 2011 R-Design D4 177BHP

2.0L diesel with 177Bhp is a beautiful power plant with a lot of power when required great for long journeys Full leather interior with Electric memory seat adjustment makes it a lovely place to be while also having the room and practicality of the estate There is a little bit of a backstory to this car being that I only bought it the end of last year: I sold my van end of last year and needed a car for a runaround for a few months until I leave the country later this month Found this car here and all seemed well however once I had bought it I discovered through a volvo forum online it may not have been what it seemed and other members of the forum had gone to view the car where they discovered smoke coming from the injector 4 and exhausts and other small gremlins that could have been sinister This began a very lengthy saga of fault finding and fixing of this car as one day the car began misfiring and would not stop I have in short put the following components into this car through fault finding one issue after another: - New battery - New Fuel filter - Traced the entire wiring loom for the engine performing continuity test on all the wires responsible for combustion to which they were all perfect - 5 new injectors - A new ECU - A new CV boot to address a small leak - Of course a service twice also using volvo approved oil There was no one thing that fixed everything completely and all of the above work was to take care of one small thing and onto the next There was a huge problem with fuel efficiency which was leak back from bad injectors which happily the new ones cured ten fold and this is now an extremely fuel efficient car This paired with the new ecu and new battery to fix a voltage issue causing the misfiring means this car now runs perfectly and I did have the pleasure of using it in the summer months However due to leaving the country indefinitely in the near future I am forced to sell
