VW Jetta 2008 1.6 Comfortline (Tax to Nov/NO NCT)

VW Jetta 2008 1.6 Comfortline (Tax to Nov/NO NCT) *Failed NCT on emissions and small hole in sill. For the emissions i'm told it's either the manifold or a burst intercooler pipe. Cant find the exact problem and have a new car bought. Ive owned this car for over a year and starts and drives fine.
