The glue boxes have individual direct drive motors rated at 1.6 kW single phase; safety control circuit is 24v AC. Closure: Carton closure is by means of hot melt adhesive, applied by glue wheel applicators. Glue is applied to the top side flap and closed on to the bottom side flap to give a secure seal.
