Description
Rodeo from the Coleraine area of Co.Derry were a highly regarded country rock band, noted for their live appearances, and active from 1972 to 1979. The main line-up was : Errol Walsh, guitar/vocals, Dougie Gough , guitar/vocals, Craig Mathieson, lead vocals, Nicky Ash, keyboards/piano, Dusty McSheffrey, bass, and Jonnie Miles, drums. Dance to the Music , written by the band themselves was issued on the short-lived Thurst Record label and was the band's only single. The B-side was a cover version of Shel Silverstein's: At the Freakers' Ball. The record was recorded in the Spring of 1974 at the Eamonn Andrews Studios in Dublin. After the break-up of the band, Errol Walsh joined Stagalee and later on became a solo artist, Jonnie Miles and Dusty McSheffrey played with Albania, and Dougie Gough with the Mighty Shamrocks. The record is now quite scarce but is in VG condition with no scratch marks. 20 euro. Postage and packaging included. Sent with a Certificate of Posting. Insured Post: 10 euro extra.
