Cavanaghs of Charleville has a long and proud tradition in the motoring business in Munster. Set up in 1967 by Tom Cavanagh along with dealerships in Fermoy and Cork, the Charleville branch was taken over by current Dealer Principal, Martin Condon, in 1987. Martin and his team built up the business steadily adding the Hyundai franchise to the existing Ford business towards the end of the nineties. The business now comprises two showrooms, a 14-bay service department, state of the art bodyshop and over 2 acres of used cars on display. Cavanaghs of Charleville is now recognised as one of the best-run dealerships in the country as evidenced by its award in November 2010 from the Society of the Irish Motor Industry: SIMI Franchise Dealer of the year 2010-11. Went yesterday to Cavanaghs Charleville for major service for my car. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Actually friend of mine recommended them to me and no regrets. I just leave my car to them and they just call me when its done. Everything went smooth and my car was incredibly running very smooth as well after the service. It feels like new when I collected my car. And got the complimentary wash as well.
