*SOLD* 15hh (approx) Ride & Drive Coloured Cob mare with Huge Colt foal at foot. 10 years old.Quiet to handle & gentle natured. - To loving & experienced private home only. - Foal born 21st April. To make 16hh plus. Sire 17.2hh Clydesdale x Big Cob mare. Foal shows good potential & was born huge, & is very well developed & forward - eating grass at only 3 days old & haylage at just 5 days! Handled since birth & very friendly. Mare has great movement & can really extend!- & has Won in-hand. 1st and 2nd in only 2 shows attended (in 2022). Good potential in dressage too. Perfect brood mare, very easy to breed from. Went in foal the first day & foaled by herself with no problems at all. Vet has checked them since & gave them both a clean bill of health. Sale due to giving up, due to my health problems. Was sent to a yard to get her riding- see video in indoor school. Then later was ridden out alone by a fairly novice, but confident, teenage girl 18months ago. But I was painfully walking behind on my crutches to get the video, hence mare only walking is shown! Not ridden since, as Ive been in just too much pain since to do anything! But mare was very quiet & calm to ride. Been mainly hacked out & done a little school work. Suit quiet but confident rider, but not a total beginner. No vices. Easy to handle – I can lead her on my crutches! Loads in a trailer or lorry easily & travels calmly. In current home over 2 years & Ive been struggling to even look after her, hence sale. Previously driven & pulled a carriage in Dublin -on video. Excellent in traffic, as shown. Also used to cows, dogs, cats & farm machinery from adjacent farm & a noisy building site ! Fully vaccinated, recently wormed & had feet done too.
