Released into circulation in 1966 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the 1916 rising. They weren't widely used in circulation, but this one belonged to my grandmother, who has owned it from new, and kept it in this old Dublin jewellers box. It is in excellent condition and has 'Ireland 1916 rising' inscribed in Irish around the side of the coin. 19 grams in weight. €55 euros o.n.o. Call, text or message anytime.
