Description
This is a very very rare set of five Irish sterling silver teaspoons..dating back to the Hanoverian design period. They were produced by John Laughlin senior in Dublin in 1732..These spoons had a rat tail design from 1710-1730 and the rounded mount on the back of the spoon from 1730-1770.This period was the first to give a lifted tail to the ends of the flatware..These have a scalloped raised tail..The spoons are in magnificent condition..are a matching set of five..these are normally sold as single spoons at aution,so to get five matching Irish pieces that are so early at this price is...well it just does'nt happen..They are just under four inches long and have a combined weight of 52 grams.I will include very safe packing and registered post. Thanks for looking please check out my other ads.
