Antique cavalry sword

An original antique Cavalry saber, 107 cm in total length with a slightly curved 89 cm blade, a solid steel guard and a wooden grip. The guard is made of a single solid steel sheet, in good conditions with no rust or pitting and a lovely antique patina; there's two different serial number markings stamped on both the inside and outside of the guard. The blade is a pipe-back blade, most likely manufactured in Germany, in good conditions, with a lovely genuine antique patina and a light pitting towards the tip. The wooden grip is also in very good conditions. Comes with its original one-ring steel scabbard, in good conditions and with a nice patina - the scabbard has few small dents, but that doesn't affect drawing or sheathing the blade. there's a serial number marking on drag of the scabbard, but not the same number as the guard marking. Great collectors item for anyone interested in militaria, or just a great decoration piece to hang on the wall. Asking 350€ but any serious offer considered.
