Description
Interesting Victorian pair of gold plated eye glasses by J.Gilbert ,120 Patrick Street Cork.J.Gilbert operated from 1834 to 1915 which his son Sydney was the last proprietor of the shop.They specialised in luxury prints,frames and luxury goods.Also were opticians to the Eye Hospital and its faculty.The glasses date to approx 1880.Great piece of Cork History.With there original fitted case in good condition.I can post for €13 registered post .Thanks
