Description
Pair of antique tall brown leather officer’s field or riding boots, complete with their fitted wooden boot trees and brass ring handles. Believed to date from the early 20th century, possibly around 1910–1935. They feature lace-up ankles, cap toes, traditional stitched leather soles, stacked heels and old hobnails. A very attractive decorative pair, ideal for a country house, tack room, pub, restaurant or equestrian display. They would also appeal to collectors of antique sporting or military-related items. Condition: These are genuine, well-used antique boots with scuffing, discolouration, dry leather and surface wear. The laces are incomplete. The original soles and heels are heavily worn, cracked and deteriorated, with old hobnails still present. The boots have not been tested for wear and are being sold strictly as decorative or collectible antiques. No maker or military history has been confirmed. The fitted wooden boot trees are included.
