Antique XIX Century Officers sword

Selling a genuine antique XIX Century officers saber. Just over 1M in total length, features a brass guard beautifully decorated with floral designs, a horn grip and an 87 cm, slightly curved steel blade with a single cutting edge. the spine of the blade is inscripted with the words "acier Eprouve" or "tested steel", a sign that this blade had been subject to stress test before being issued, normally a sign that this was army-grade quality material - other than this there is no other visible marking or inscription on the blade or the guard. The sword holds strong and there's no play or movement between the blade and the guard/grip. the blade is in excellent conditions, with a lovely genuine antique patina but no rust, pitting or chipping on the cutting edge. Comes in its original steel scabbard, also in a very good conditions with a lovely patina but no rust, pitting or other damage.
