Belleek Pair of porcelain figurines Boy and Girl

This is a classic, traditional pair of figurines made of Irish Parian porcelain by Belleek Pottery, known as the "Boy Basket Carrier" and the "Girl Basket Carrier." These figurines were designed in the 19th century (first released in 1877) and depict rural children in traditional Victorian-era attire, carrying distinctive vases/candle holders—featuring a "basketweave" motif—on their shoulders.
