Description
The saucer has several characteristics typical of mid-20th-century Japanese or European export bone china: * Iridescent (lustreware) finish — the rainbow sheen was very popular in the 1940s–1960s. * Heavy gold trim with embossed detailing. * Delicate pink floral wreath motif. * Minimal backstamp rather than a full company name, which was common on export wares. The mark is still difficult to identify with certainty because it’s a small monogram rather than a spelled-out manufacturer name. The central symbol may actually be a stylized “KB” or “KR” inside a crest, with the “H” below possibly indicating a pattern or decorator mark.
