Dublin: Duffy, 1848. Third Edition. Pp xxiv, 449. Rebound in maroon cloth boards, title in gilt to spine. A nice bright copy. Title pages in both Irish & English, text consists of a translation of each page in English and Irish. Andrew Donlevy was born in Sligo in 1694. He went to the Irish College in Paris to study for the priesthood, was ordained in 1728 was appointed prefect in the college, an office he held until 1746. In excellent condition.
