Edwardian Home & Colonial Stores Housewife’s Note Book – Dublin Interest – 1911–1915 Original early 1900s “Housewife’s Note Book” from The Home & Colonial Stores Ltd. Includes attractive period advertising for tea, coffee, cocoa, butter, cheese and groceries together with handwritten household/accounting entries dating from approximately 1911–1915. Contains references to Rathmines, Dublin and appears to relate to banking/savings/investment records. Lovely piece of Irish/British social history and advertising ephemera. Condition shows age-related wear, folds and staining but remains complete and very displayable.
