Between 1801 -1805 French artist Jacques-Louis Davis produced a series of five equestrian portraits of Napoleon Bonaparte. Commissioned by the King of Spain. This picture features Napoleon on horseback crossing the Alps through the Great St Bernard Pass in May 1800. Beautiful detailed frame. In excellent condition. 42.5×30.5inch. Check out my other ads.
