Mid Century Sergio Asti Alexandrite Glasses Set

A stunning retro purple amethyst drinking set of six tall glasses with bowl/holder. Designed by Sergio Asti for Arnoldo Di Cambio, Italy 1960s. Sergio Asti was an Italian architect and industrial designer, known for his work for Artemide, FontanaArte, Gabbianelli, Heller, Knoll, Salviati, and Zanotta and Arnolfo di Cambio among others. Made from alexandrite neodymium glass this set turns a blue colour under flourescent light. Quite a statement piece in terms of aesthetics and use.
