Original Vintage Nursery School Desk & Chair

Lovely original child’s wooden nursery/infant school desk with separate period wooden chair. Believed to date from approximately the 1940s/1950s, the desk has a traditional hinged lift-up writing top opening to a large storage compartment underneath. Both pieces remain in lovely unrestored condition with the original aged finish and the wonderful pencil, crayon and classroom marks accumulated over many years of use. A very nostalgic and increasingly unusual piece of old school furniture. Ideal as a decorative vintage piece, child’s desk, shop/café display, photography prop or film/theatre prop.
