Featuring highly decorative scrollwork, floral detailing, and a striking crest with birds, this is a real statement piece, ideal above a fireplace or as a focal point in a period house. * Approx. size: 150cm (W) x 136cm (H) * Original gilt finish with lovely aged patina * Composition (gesso) over wood construction, typical of the period * Original mirror plate with some age-related wear * Solid and heavy Condition is very good for its age, with expected wear to the gilding and minor surface marks that add to its character.
