Rare Antique William Magner's Cider Bottle Clonmel . The name "William Magner" embossed on the bottle refers to the founder of the well-known Irish cider company. William Magner started commercial cider production in Clonmel, South Tipperary, He bought an orchard and established a successful cider mill, later joining forces with English cider-makers H. P. Bulmer in 1937 to increase production. Magners Original Irish Cider is still made using the same recipe created by William Magner over 80 years ago, using a blend of 17 apple varieties. Magner left the company in 1949, and while the cider is known as Bulmers in Ireland, it is exported globally under the name Magners due to international trademark issues. Height measures 19cm. Would be of interest to a collector of Pub Memorabilia or as a Display item in a Pub,Cafe,Mancave etc. p&p 6e.
