Taxidermied Great Northern Diver

For sale, taxidermied Great Northern Diver. The bird was shot on Achill island in the early 1900s and preserved and encased in a naturalistic setting. It was owned by a woman in Dublin who passed it on to my mother's uncle, who then passed it on to her. The case measures 21 x 32.5 x 12.5 inches (53 x 82.5 x 32cm), and is painted black. The case is in good condition for its age, with the glass fully intact and not cracked or chipped. The plumage is in excellent condition, with the distinctive red eyes fully intact and in place.
