Description
Very rare copy of ‘The Gaelic Echo’ from 2nd Sept 1944, featuring the upcoming All Ireland Hurling final between Cork and Dublin.(Cork being winners,2-13 to 1-2.) The Gaelic Echo was a short lived newspaper focusing on Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) matters. This very rare copy was sold for 2p and features great details of the upcoming game, ticket costs, the teams involved,GAA related issues of the time and a host of very interesting advertisements. A little wear & tear, but overall in very good condition for its age. Great for collectors of GAA memorabilia.
