Very rare part tea set from Arklow Pottery

Made during the early years of Arklow Pottery this part tea set consisting of 5 cups and saucers, a milk jug, sugar bowl and cake plate is very interesting and should be of interest to Arklow collectors. Possibly made for a family or organisation, it carries the motto “ Fidem Servo” roughly translated as “I keep the faith”. It has been suggested that this was the motto of several different organisations or groups , but this is by no means certain. What is certain though is that it is a rare set. It is in good condition, given its age . There is some crazing present on all pieces which is to be expected. Available from June 26th. Collection only.
