Victorian Balloon Back Dining Chairs

Genuine Victorian balloon back dining/occasional chairs, solid mahogany. Gorgeous detailing. Can be used as is, but would benefit from reupholstering and minor restoration. These are the original seats & coverings, so are very old. It would be magnificent to see them brought back to their full potential and take centre stage in someone's house once again. Stored inside always and not in external sheds etc. The final photo shows the under side of the chairs where the original upholstery is slightly torn. The black holes you see are merely the original horse hair poking through, they are not hollow. These are in excellent condition for their age. They are still functional chairs, just need some tlc to bring them back to their former glory.
