Vintage Japanese panelled silk screen

This is a stunning Japanese Byoba or panelled silk folding screen by the Japanese artist Haruki Sakuraba. It can be used as a room divider or can be hung on the wall as a decorative back drop. It is painted on silk coated Japanese washi paper with brass bindings on the edges. The beautiful green nightingales and the plum blossoms represent a new beginning. The background is a champagne gold but you can see the change in colour when the natural sun light shines on it. The screen measures 69 inches wide by 36 inches tall.
