Vintage Luminarc Glass Egg Cup- Set of 2

These Vintage Luminarc clear glass Hen/Chicken egg cups were produced jn France in the 1960s to 1970s. They have the embossed Luminarc stamp on the bottom of both glasses, and one of the glasses still retains its original manufacturing sticker. Each piece is molded in a stylized three-dimensional sitting hen or chicken shape, measuring roughly 7cm tall and 7cm from beak to tail. These birds were cleverly crafted with pressed sodalime glass which is thick and chip resistant. Combined with the compact, stable footed base, they are designed for longevity. They have a smooth yet tactile relief showing their finer line details of feathers and their tucked heads and beaks'. These charming, playful little characters have an authentic retro appeal and fit in seamlessly in a country setting. ● CONDITION: EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION! NO CHIPS, NO MSRKS, OR CLOUDING.
