An elegant English china plate in the classic ‘Real Old Willow’ pattern by Booths, featuring a richly detailed cobalt blue design and delicately scalloped, gilt-edged rim. The famous chinoiserie scene depicts the romantic legend of two star-crossed lovers, framed by pagodas, a weeping willow, and the iconic bridge. Produced in Staffordshire in the mid-20th century, this piece is part of Booths’ A8025 line — known for its deep blue transferware, hand-painted accents, and refined gold edging.
