Description
Traditional British police custodian helmet, specifically from the South Wales Constabulary. Based on the badge design and helmet features, this piece dates back to the period between 1960/80s The Helmet Plate: The central silver-colored badge (Brunswick Star) explicitly reads "SOUTH WALES CONSTABULARY". It features the Prince of Wales's feathers in the center and is surmounted by the St Edward's Crown (the Queen's Crown), which indicates it was issued during the reign of Queen Elizabeth II. Silver Band: The silver band around the base of the helmet was typically used for Senior Officers (rank of Inspector and above) allowing them to be easily identified during public disorder incidents. Helmet is in new condition. Postage would be €11. Check out my other ads.
