watercolour by listed Irish Artist

Offered is an original watercolour by listed Irish artist Darius Joseph Mc Egan of Franky Barrett vice provost Trinity college Dublin. He was quite the eccentric. He experienced poverty as a child and it made hin increadably tight with money. Theres a story that two students found him near death with hypothermia in his rooms in Trinity and nursed him from the point of death with warm rum. He died 1821 left 80,000 in his will.A huge sum at that time.Only one other image in Trinity college itself. Mount has foxing but watercolour itself is fine. Pretty historic and rare image.
