Description
This item is a, circular enamelled advertising sign for Scho-Ka-Kola chocolate, originating from the Third Reich period in Germany. Product: Scho-Ka-Kola is a caffeinated dark chocolate brand launched in 1936, designed to induce alertness. Historical Context: During World War II, it was known as "Aviator Chocolate" (Fliegerschokolade) and was commonly issued in ration tins to Luftwaffe pilots, crews, and other German troops. Design: The sign features a central eagle emblem flanked by oak leaves, with the slogan "Die Stärkende Schokolade" (The Strengthening Chocolate). Condition: The sign shows signs of wear, including rust and enamel loss, particularly around the rim. Sold as is price to include registered post. I bought this many years ago in a flee market in Belgium for my man cave that just never happened.
