60k mile BMW E53 X5 Crewcab

2004 5 seat crewcab BMW X5. Test just passed but backdated to 12/26, €333 tax 11/26. I bought this as a project from the previous owner who had it 9 years after it blew its turbo and the engine was damaged. Over the summer I put a new engine in it, with a genuine warranted 60,160 miles. Yes that’s 60K MILES ONLY! When changing the engine I changed the gearbox, transfer case and front differential with it in one go. So this X5 has the full running gear from a 60k mile jeep in a body with 240k. The donor X5 is still here with proof of low mileage, only covering a couple of thousand every year all its life. Service history present - it was bought new by a businessman in Ferns, Wexford and well maintained. Just passed CVRT but has been off the road so it’s backdated, test expires 12/26. No reason why it won’t pass again. Had a new battery, droplinks, control arms and other small bits for the test such as door handle carriers, window regulator, etc. After the new engine and box went in, I changed the engine oil and filter, air filter, gearbox oil was flushed and gearbox filter changed also. Bluetooth radio, factory towbar, auto xenon lights; auto wipers, auto dimming middle and side mirrors, cruise control, 4x4 and hill descent control all working. Coming on a very clean set of E70 style 223M wheels with hub centric spacers. To save everyone’s time I’d like to list the bad as well as the good: -Bodywork is presentable but not amazing. See pictures carefully. -There is a drain on the battery like many of these. I never tried to trace it. There’s a manual isolator switch fitted which I switch off at night to keep the battery in good order. Radio is most likely culprit. It’s priced fairly at €4,400 - you will be a long time looking for another 5 seat crewcab with this sort of mileage.
