After purchasing my second Kia EV6 is September 2023 I suffered issues on day one with a head light fault which took 4 weeks to repair and involved taking a camera from my trade in. Over the first 4 weeks I experienced a metallic noise coming from the climate control and also range issues. Dooleys diagnosed the range issue being related to an AVN unit however the replacement part would not have been available for 4 months. On the 20th of November my EV6 GT suffered from what I was called Zombie Mode which left me stranded on the side of the road. I rang Kia Assist to be told they were busy and could not get to me until the following day. I had to organise my own tow truck to collect a car which was not even 7 weeks old. After the EV6 was brought to the dealer Zombie Mode was diagnosed which is a fault which stops the EV6 from entering Drive or Reverse and leaves you unable to drive. KIA expected me to continue to drive the EV6 with this random fault until it happened again. Everything I experienced was recorded on video and I have written documentation , photos and audio recordings to proce beyond a doubt that I was sold a car which was not fit for purpose. KIA Ireland were unhelpful and ignored phone calls and emails and Dooleys kept saying it was an issue for Kia Ireland. If thinking about buying a Kia EV6 GT consider the fact that the service from Kia Ireland is not what you would expect when paying €67,000 for a car.

Terrible customer service! Never returned calls. Unable to identify let alone fix a simple issue with my car after 5 attempts. Never again!!
