Had a small problem with my ford focus while travelling in ireland and sent them an email to see if they could just do a quick check on my car before travelling up to Dublin to catch ferry home and I was booked in for a check and waited in waiting room with tea and coffee and they fixed my problem in minutes and I was on my way and did not charge me fantastic service a credit to the ford group. Just off the phone with someone in Lyons. Wanted to enquire about a timing belt kit and replacement for a volvo and I was just told that the service dept were very busy and I would have to call back about the price. When I said I was only looking for a price for it I was told yes I can't give you a price because they are so busy for the next two weeks. Asked when I could expect a call back on it, she was unsure but could be in the next few days and just shrugged it off because it left me without an option. Not the type of customer service you expect from a main dealership. I get the service dept are busy which no doubt they are but there really should be someone on the phone able to deal with a request such as this. Connolly's in Galway had no issue getting a price right away over the phone and customer service streets ahead. I'll be making the trip to Galway.
