I had an extremely frustrating experience with Lyons Garage.

I brought my car in to have a wing mirror replaced and was told it could be ordered in white. When I came to collect it, the mirror had black on it instead. When I raised this, I was basically told there was nothing they could do to help.

After that, communication was a nightmare. I had to ring multiple times just to get through to someone. Eventually, they agreed to fix the issue, but things only got worse from there.

After getting the car back, it wouldn’t lock properly. I then had to ring repeatedly again—especially trying to get through to Matt, which took far too many calls—just to get it looked at.

They told me to come in at 9 in the morning and said the fix would take about two hours. I planned my day around that, dropped the car off, and went to the gym. When I came back after three hours, I was told the car wouldn’t be ready until 5:30pm.

At that point, I’d had enough. I took my car back out of pure frustration and ended up paying someone else to fix the issue properly.

Overall, poor communication, broken promises, and a complete lack of accountability. I wouldn’t recommend this garage to anyone.
