Ford Transit 2011

I bought this van from a well established dealer in Cavan. The seller was a carpenter in England, private sale, and my dealer imported it in 2015. It had 87,000 miles on the clock and was in 'as new.' condition when I bought it that same year. A real pet to drive. I took out the bulk head and sold it. I had two rear windows put into the doors and a small (horse trailer) window put into the side for ventilation. I had the van lined with heavy quality felt to cut down on noise and for insulation against cold and heat. I used the van to cart tools and square bales of hay etc. I also used it as a mini camper van and had wonderful trips 'camping' within Ireland. The stained glass effect you see on the rear windows is a special plastic sheet that offers both light and privacy for sleeping in the back on camping trips. I am a woman in my sixties - a careful and safe driver. I've loved having this little van. I'm selling now to downsize, as I no longer need a 1.8 diesel engine just for trips to and from town. I have an excellent mechanic who has maintained the van over the last ten years and I have all the receipts for servicing, any other work etc. The under carriage is in good condition as I got it sealed some years ago. The van has been kept under cover for the ten years that I've had it, so the paint work is in good condition. It passed the DoE test this month and is taxed until end of August 2025.
