Warning to anyone considering buying from Ascot Motor Company: the white Suzuki swift I purchased from them in November, which suffered a gearbox failure and was confirmed as unable to be repaired, is still being advertised for sale on their website. The reg of the car is 132-D-27216.

After the engine broke while being driven to Cork, I returned it and was told it would be fixed and that I’d receive a replacement car in the meantime. I was later informed it couldn’t be repaired and it was never returned to me, leaving me with a car I did not initially want.

Very disappointing and unprofessional handling of the situation. I would not want someone to buy the car that is STILL on sale only to be left with the same disappointment I was left with.
