Land Rover Defender 110 3DR 2.5 300 TDI 3DR

Put car in asking for brake pads and discs plus a tyre check. Expected to need all done. They looked it over and gave it a drive test but advised holding off to save money as they each had good life left in them. Great honest team there. Recommend.

Dropped my van in and asked them to investigate a differential leak. Didn't hear back for a few days so called for an update. Was told the diff was fine but the oil pan was leaking and they were in the middle of replacing it. I did not approve this work. I was told it would be €300-€500. I was landed with a €750 bill when I picked up the van. A new oil pan for that van can be bought for €50 online. Anyway, a week later I found 2 puddles of oil under the van, one from the diff (they said was grand) and another from the new oil pan they fitted, which was leaking through the drain plug. They took the van back and fixed the oil pan leak (hadn't fitted a washer the first time), but now I'm out €750 and still have a leaking diff. The guys at the front desk seemed alright, but the guys in the garage don't know what they are doing. I won't be going back!
