Tried to buy a new Vito 119 select from them 4 years ago.... salesman told me they really wouldn't be interested till the 2 vans in stock were sold first. Called again as I was thinking of changing the Vito I bought in Cavan.... no salesman there... why am I not surprised.
In their favour. Truckcar did all my servicing while the van was under warranty and had absolutely no issues.

I am going to echo Tom Gardener's review from a year ago.
Nothing has changed and I bitterly regret not having seen it sooner.
Not only should Mercedes take a closer look at this company, the RSA should also be checking their eligibility to be listed as  authorised tachograph installers.
My experience has a similar ring to the review mentioned.
I booked in a German import Mercedes Actros for a compulsory tachograph retrofit.
The vehicle has been maintained by Mercedes from new and I naively thought that booking into an authorised dealer would be the best option.
No!!! Huge mistake, this experience has been exactly the opposite, I'll never go near them again.
My job card was really simple, Fit the latest version Tachograph.

This is a mandatory and costly job, so I wanted to make the most of this one time opportunity and get the latest device together with the latest functionality.

Neither goals have been achieved.

When I arrived back at Truckcar at 4:30 pm to collect my vehicle, I was told it had no coolant because of a leaking pipe and the Tachograph install wasn't finished.
They'd had the vehicle since 8:30 am, no phone calls nothing, just a load of BS about a slow leak and corroded sender that took all day to remove.
When I asked to take look , my sleeper cab door was wide open and the neighbouring vehicle was having rust ground off the brakes.
There was zero evidence of a leak, just a snapped off pipe.
To say I was despondent is an understatement, then I had to go and find a hotel.

The next day I arrived and went to the workshop and stayed with the vehicle until the Tachograph install and calibration were complete. I cancelled the service as all trust had evaporated.

The following day, I tried to connect my phone to the Tachograph and take advantage of the new features after the abysmal experience getting it fitted, when I discovered it wasn't over. My phone wouldn't connect because of outdated firmware.

I then discovered the Tachograph fitted was a previous model and Truckcar had no idea how to update the firmware.
I was asked to wait for the Manager's return, so he could contact me with a resolution, I'm still waiting.
Update, I've since spoken with the manager of Truckcar, he didn't understand why I was dissatisfied with outdated software on a newly installed device and more importantly, they don't appear to have the knowledge or equipment to carry out this task.
I was repeatedly told how well trained and equipped their technicians are, but not offered an appointment to update my Tachograph.

Worst costumer service ever!!! I called them stayed minute oj the phone to get an offer from them, they said ok, we'll email it, after 2 dans nothinf. I call back, told them I'm waiting for 2 days and she hung up on me. Called back again and never aswer!!!!!
