Myself and Donal Waters opened Blackstone Motors on the 1st of November in 2007; there aren't enough words to describe how excited and nervous we were; but we were determined to succeed. We were appointed as a main Renault Dealer for Drogheda in August 2008 and promoted to a Regional Renault Dealer in December 2010. As a Regional Dealer for Renault and Dacia, we're responsible for New Vehicle Sales, Parts Sales, After-Sales Performance, Brand Marketing and Dealer Network Standards for the North East region of Louth, Meath, Monaghan and Cavan. It's hard to believe we accomplished so much in the first three short years of business, but we haven't stopped there. We added Dacia (the sister brand of Renault) to our dealership in 2012 and saw our team grow from a team of four to a strong team of thirty over the last four years. Now (in 2016) we are focusing on the expansion of our business and reach into our region by opening Blackstone Motors Cavan in October 2016 and Blackstone Motors Dundalk in late 2017. This is an incredibly exciting time for us, and we are grateful for the opportunity to further develop our business.

Collected my new Dacia Duster Hybrid today. Such a great experience dealing with the staff at Blackstone. Last November met with Ivan who helped us choosing our car. Answered all our queries in a very positive and professional manner. He is very friendly and stayed in contact with us from November till today when we picked the car up.

Hi , my van was acting up, I phoned Blackstone service counter, the gentleman on duty told me to come in even though they were very busy, himself and the mechanic checked out the van and had me back on the road very quickly

I brought my vehicle in for service. While waiting, I checked my GPS tracker and noticed my car was parked at a grocery store for over 15 minutes, nowhere near the dealership.
I called the service department to ask if the car was ready. I was told they were ‘still working on it.’ When I pointed out that I could see the car was actually parked at a grocery store, the representative put me on hold.
A second person then got on the phone and changed the story, claiming they had asked the mechanic to take the car for a ‘test spin’ to ensure everything was okay. However, the GPS data showed the car was stationary at a grocery store for an extended period not being test-driven on the road.
It became clear that the mechanic was using my vehicle for personal errands. The dealership initially lied to me about the status of my vehicle, and when confronted, they changed their excuse to cover for the employee.
This is completely unacceptable. Customers trust service centers with their vehicles, and this breach of trust plus the dishonesty when I first called means I cannot recommend this establishment. I expect my car to be serviced professionally, not used as someone's personal vehicle.
