Very friendly staff, job done in good time

Fine garage lovely showroom curtious staff. But I was very disappointed with the trade in allowance I was being allowed on a 2019 fiesta they just didn't want my car. It would have been nice to be told they were overstocked with fiestas and not interested rather than giving such a poor trade in allowance.

I first want to say how pleasant and professional the girls on the service counter are such a pleasure to deal with
I do have one huge issue is the charge I had to pay and the time it took to fix a set of wipers and check the engine for oil ,
I dropped the car off at 9:20 and it still was not ready when I arrived at 4:15 but not only that the charge for labour to realign wiper was 100 euros and to check the engine and found not leak was 50 euro including VAT
170 euro this is extortion and I feel I need to take this to ford Ireland or Uk for the prices above

Cavanaghs of Fermoy are the nastiest garage that I have ever dealt with. I rang them on the 5th of September to ask for a cam belt change and wheel bearing change on a Ford Focus. They informed me that a cam belt change could take the entire day, so I asked them to book me in for just a front left wheel bearing change on the 21st of September. I delivered the car to them at 08:00 on the 21st, and I rang Chloe later that morning to inform her of the delivery of the car. Chloe rang me later that day at 15:01 to tell me that they had diagnosed a left front bearing, and did I want to book it in for a replacement. I responded by asking why hadn’t they replaced the bearing, given the booking was made weeks ago. Chloe replied that they had no bearing in stock and that if they had ordered one, they would have had to pay for it. Chloe asked me if I wanted to leave the car with them or collect it. I replied that I would collect the car that evening. Chloe then stated that she would get the mechanics to put my car back together. I arrived at Cavanaghs at 16:54, to find my car outside. I was forced to pay €90 for what amounted to 5 minutes work. On inspection, I noted that the car had not been disassembled, and it later transpired that at 15:01, my car was parked outside, fully intact and therefore never disassembled by the mechanics. It was also dangerous for Cavanaghs to release the car with a faulty critical chassis component. I will never buy another Ford car if this is how the dealer network behaves.
