Bought a car here in March 2021. Having just passed my full test and buying my first car I was absolutely delighted with myself and felt I'd asked all the right questions. Timing chain went in the car around a month and a bit after buying which cost just shy of a grand to fix, spark plug broke and damaged cylinder 3 months later mid motorway and garage told me they hadnt been changed possibly since car was new (car was 11 years old at this stage but had low enough mileage). When I asked the salesman about the chain prior to buying he said they 'should' last forever, clever wording on his part. Naively I just paid the mechanic  and  didn't call the garage to complain, a lot smarter because of it nowadays so at least I've them to thank for it. However  obviously still upset by it hence the late review.
